Beyond the Mic

Beyond the Mic is an exclusive Nā Leo TV production featuring rising Hawai‘i Island musicians as they share their mele and mo‘olelo. The series elevates local artists, celebrates storytelling, and strengthens Hawai‘i’s creative industries. Music unites, inspires, and moves us — and Hawai‘i Island artists are uniquely poised to share aloha with the world through their sound. The 2025 series is made possible through the generous support of The Sunderland Family. Our premiere episode spotlights Kona Town’s Finest Music, Jo-An Kahaiali‘i, Bridge Hartman, and Stephen Henderson.
